Born in Athens, Greece, Ilias Kampanis is a composer, producer, guitarist and mixing engineer. Coming from a family of fine artists his enthusiasm for the aesthetics and texture of sound is an ongoing process starting with the piano at the age of 7.
Ilias studied music performance in Middlesex University in London. He was mentored in music production by Richie Stevens (Boy George, Simply Red, Joss Stone) and also holds a certificate in audio mixing from Berklee College of Music. Since 2012 he has been composing music, including a full length documentary film, a few short movies and numerous TV commercials.
Under the name faultnaut, he has released music in various compilations in Greece & Internationally.
Nick Athens is a music composer, arranger, producer and multi-instrumentalist.
Nick studied music in London where he lived for 5 years. Armed since childhood with a passion for orchestration and scoring, he produces music and makes scores for movies, documentaries, commercials and theatrical performances. He’s considered to have a unique approach when it comes to sound for the moving picture.
Karolos Berahas was born in New York City and grew up in Athens, Greece. He is a composer, producer and multi-instrumentalist, as well as a mathematician and researcher. He holds a BSc in Mathematics and a BA in Music from Georgetown University. He has taught Mathematics, Computer Science and Music for over 7 years, and his research on polyrhythms was presented at the Third International Conference on Analytical Approaches to World Music in 2014. He recently recorded and produced his band’s self-titled album, Dury Dava, which was released in May 2019 via Inner Ear Records.
Alessandro was born on the north-eastern coast of Italy, from a Colombian mother and an Italian father. He is a saxophone player (tenor, alto, soprano), performer, md and arranger who has constantly tried to reinvent and develop himself since the age of 5 when he begun classical piano studies.
He graduated from Middlesex University (BMus in music performance and production) where he was tutored by Dave O’Higgins (Ray Charles, Frank Sinatra) and Sid Gauld (Tom Jones, Incognito, Chaka Khan).
As a session player in London, he has played with “Cymande II” and toured the UK for two years with “Geno Washington and the RamJam Band”, including venues like the O2Arena, Isle of Wight festival, Jazz Cafe and more. He moved to Athens in 2016 and is currently part of the Norwegian/Greek band “Of Embla” as well as the Greek session scene.
